Helsingin NNKY (YWCA Helsinki, Young Women’s Christian Association) offers activities and places to meet for women, girls and non-binary people from different age groups. Our association was founded in 1896 and is the oldest YWCA association in Finland. Our activities
- Queendom is a safer space for girls and LGBTIQ+ youth in Rastila.
- Leadeship school supports working life and leadership skills of young women.
- Youth clubs around Helsinki offer free time activities for girls and boys.
- Magnificient experiences are provided for the youth in our camps.
- Terrible Mothers offers peer support to mothers of adolescent children.
- Power sisters supports all women at unique moments in their life.

Volunteer work
Interested in volunteering? We have a safer space for 9-19 years old girls and LGBTIQ+ youth in Rastila. Some knowledge of Finnish language is an advantage when volunteering with us. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us.
